2/1/11 This "Cuddle Bunny" was
rescued from the middle of Golden Gate
Blvd. east of Wilson by one of our
technicians one week ago. She
appears to be around 6 or 7, and we
suspect that she is spayed. Despite
putting up signs, making calls, putting
found ads in the Naples Daily News and
Craig's list, no one has stepped forward
to claim her, which is surprising since
she thinks that she is a lap dog.
10/16/2010 These 3 little kittens, 12 weeks old, 2 females and a male, don't need mittens but do need homes. FELV/FIV negative, dewormed, with first shots on board they are playful and beautiful!

Joey is a 12 year old Schnauzer with a
sad tale. He was found on the side of
the road. Although matted, thin and
scraggly, he did have a collar and a
rabies tag along with his name tag. The
rabies tag was traced to Westcoast
Veterinary Hospital where our records
showed we last vaccinated Joey in
2006. When we called the phone
number in our records, a recording
noted the same family living there so we
left a message . Meanwhile, George and
Sharon went to work shaving the mats
out of Joey's coat, bathing him and
trimming his nails that were so long that
they were growing in circles. When we
finally got a hold of the owners on
record, they indicated that they had
given Joey away 4 years ago. The
original owners contacted the person
that they had given him to....who denied
ever owning or seeing the dog.
Who knows what these last 4 years
have been like for this senior with as
much energy as a puppy. Please open
your heart and insure that his next 4
years are not full of uncertainty.
