Naples Safari/Westcoast Veterinary Pet Adoption Page
The following pets are available for adoption through one of our hospitals.  Please call
or email us at westcvet@yahoo.com  for further information.
7/17/2009  Buddy is a very bouncy, active twelve year old chihuahua who has had
epilepsy,  controlled with daily medication, since he was a puppy.  His owner  must
move into a facility that does not allow pets so Buddy needs his own retirement
home.
He is missing some teeth, but the ones that he has left are shiny and polished.  He
has been neutered, is current on his vaccines and is heartworm negative.  He likes
spending time in our daycare facility, but would love a home of his own.  Please stop
by our Naples Safari location to meet him.
8/1/2009
One of our clients with a big heart took in a pregnant kitty
that was dumped at the end of their driveway.  The Momma
cat had 6 babies.  All are now 4 months old, have had all of
their shots, have been dewormed and are looking for
homes.  Three can be seen at our Naples Safari location.
Dedicated to supporting  the bond between people and their pets

11/19/2009 - Autumn's sister was adopted, now please help
give her a home for the holidays.
She has been spayed and  is current on all of her shots.
She is good with other cats.
Howie came to us as a stray and is a real cuddler.  He is
probably about 2 years old, FELV/FIV negative , current
on his vaccines, dewormed and neutered. He gets along
with dogs and other cats. He also enjoys dressing up like
a butterfly if it will bring a smile to your face.

Adopted!
Val was found on Valentine's Day on Imperial Golf Course
Blvd.  A feral kitten, she was thin and dehydrated .  She has
tested FELV & FIV negative and is being dewormed.  Val is
quickly deciding that regular meals and belly rubs are a
good thing and is already purring for us.

Adopted
Spring and summer is kitten season in SW Florida and , unfortunately,
due in part to the economy, there are more stray and abandoned animals
this year.  We have  had a number of feral or stray kittens brought to us
that would not have survied.  We are looking for good homes for them.
They have all been Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, given their first shots
and have been dewormed.  They are socialized towards people, other
cats and dogs.  There is not adoption fee to qualified individuals.  Please
stop by and check thes furballs full of personality out:

Keyes, a male black and white kitten was born to a barn cat 4/12/10 - He
is a very sweet cat and extremely affectionate.

Melodie, a female tiger, was born 3/5/10 to a mother who abandoned her
and was hand raised. She is curious and playful.

Spirit, a female calico was a feral kitten who was trapped and socialized.
She is very bright and loves to interact.

Come visit them at Naples Safari .

"Tank" has had tough times during his first 1+ year.   He was
abandoned at
Westcoast Veterinary Hospital after suffering a
prolapsed rectum that
had remained untreated for 3 days.  After
surgically repairing the problem, Tank was neutered and
adopted.  Unfortunately,   his owner had to leave the state and
was unable to take Tank with him.  Tank is 78 lbs and full of
energy.
Tank is deserving of a forever home.  Come see him at
Naples Safari.
