Dog Daycare General Information and Policies
AGE: All dogs must be at least 4 months of age or older.
SEX: All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.
SHOTS: All must have up-to-date vaccinations. Dogs must have a physical exam within the past year and be
current with DHPP and Rabies vaccinations. A negative heartworm and fecal parasite check within 1 year and
Bordetella vaccination within 6 months are requirements. As of 10/1/2009, all day campers will be required to have
canine influenza immunizations. Written proof of vaccinations are required at check-in. If your pet is not current on
vaccines, these can be updated by our doctors upon arrival.
HEALTH: All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill in
with a communicable condition in the last 14 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which
could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 14 days
will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.
BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify their dogs have not
harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Please remember:
your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.
APPLICATION: All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file. After your submitted
application has been reviewed and approved, you will need to make a temperament screening appointment. This
screening is a one-time appointment with a $20 non-refundable fee. If your pet passes the screening, the fee will be
applied towards their first day at Safari Daycare.
FEES: Fees are based on a pass plan. A pass is valid for 90 days from date of purchase. If refund is necessary,
please request before pass expiration and payment will be prorated based on regular $28 per day fee. Additional
dogs that are living in the same household are half price per day, per dog.
Less than 4 hours: $15.00
1-day pass: $28.00
10-day pass: $260.00
20-day pass: $500
While Boarding: $20 (in addition to boarding fees)
DAYS AND HOURS: Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Staff goes off duty at 5:30 p.m. and there is
a $1.00 per minute charge for any pet left after 5:30 p.m.
RESERVATIONS: Required. Payment is due upon arrival. If any changes to the dates of the contract are
necessary, 24 hour notice must be given or a $25 cancellation fee will be charged to your account. No boarding
animal will be released until all boarding charges are paid in full.
